Mind Over Murphy

Mind over Murphy is a project of Pencilish Animation Studios. Tom Bancroft, one of its founders is a veteran Disney animator. He worked on films such as Pocahontas, The Lion King, Mulan, Aladdin and many more. I was very fortunate that Tom trusted me to create the characters, backgrounds and do the animation.

It’s a comedy series in which Murphy, a 25-year-old guy who lives in Brooklyn, keeps getting into trouble because of his brain.

Murphy’s character is played by comedian Max St. John. Brain is played by Brian Hull. The music is by Walter Rodriguez (who has collaborated on Pixar films such as Inside Out and Up) and Mark Gasbarro.
